“I can honestly say that in terms of value, I received greater value on every level from my USM education than my medical degree.”(

“As a practicing physician, the demands of my profession left little room for real connection with my patients. Through the curriculum at the University, I learned tools and skills that transformed my ability to communicate and build relationships with my patients -- tools and skills that, from my point of view, are vital for anyone working with patients in any capacity in the medical world. Utilizing the support of USM's educational environment, I also began to envision the career of my heartfelt dreams. I now work with the California WellBeing Institute and have peers with a similar vision. And I have relationships with my patients that I truly enjoy. In addition to professional success, my relationships have deepened, my marriage is a wellspring of love and support, and I am closer to my children than ever before. My experience at USM transformed me from the inside out, allowing me the ability to receive all the blessings, abundance, and serendipity that are present in my life!” (

“Professionally, I could not be serving women in the way I am without my USM education. I also attribute who I am now as I walk through my life everyday, in every interaction with every person and in all of my relationships, to USM's Graduate Program. I live my life with an open heart, and it's an amazing experience.”(

“Before I attended USM, I was the Vice President of Marketing at AT&T Broadband. I was with the company for 12 years. Then I had a very challenging experience of infertility, which began a three-year process to conceive my son. This experience was so life-altering that I decided I wanted to work with women who had the same challenges. I found a very well-known infertility program at Harvard, but I needed a Master's Degree to attend. After I graduated from USM and had my second child, I received the Harvard credentials and opened my own Mind/Body practice working with women challenged by infertility. There are five people in Los Angeles who have the Harvard credential, and I have a better pregnancy rate among my clients than anyone . . . and from my point of view that's due to my USM education. I have a doctor that I work very closely with who sends me his hardest cases. He says to me, 'I don't know what you're doing in that room, but keep doing it!' Professionally, I could not be serving women in the way I am without my USM education. I live my life with an open heart, and it's an amazing experience.” (
