Admissions Criteria—Psy.D. Program
The Admissions Committee will use the following criteria to evaluate all complete Applications and approve candidates for admission to the Doctoral Program:
- Completed Master of Arts from the University of Santa Monica in Spiritual Psychology, Counseling Psychology, or Consciousness, Health, and Healing
- Prior successful academic coursework with a minimum GPA of 3.0
- Ability to think clearly and write well
- Professional goals congruent
with USM’s philosophy and purpose - Ability to effectively utilize the Doctoral Program to achieve one’s goals and learning objectives
- Emotional/psychological maturity and self-awareness
- Ability to function as an actively involved and independent learner
- Commitment to life-long learning
- Computer literacy
Admissions Requirements—Psy.D. Program
The following are required for applicants seeking Admission to USM’s Doctoral Program:
- Completed Master of Arts from the University of Santa Monica in Spiritual Psychology, Counseling Psychology, or Consciousness, Health, and Healing
- Registration deposit of $1,000
- Submission of a completed Doctoral Program Application for Admission by February 1
