The Spirit of Wisdom flows at USM!

Picture this! A blessing by USM’s Chancellor, John-Roger, is inscribed at the top of a beautifully textured purple wall. It says, “Lord of the Universe, please bring that manifestation of abundance and prosperity to those recipients who are funding this University, who are bringing forward the glory of life and love and joy and laughter, who are showing us the purpose for being on the planet, that we may love each other, that we may obey, that we may surrender into the loving of our own soul.  Amen. So be it.”

Directly below the inscription is an acknowledgement that reads, “To those of you listed below, we extend heartfelt Loving and Gratitude. Because of you, the Spirit of Wisdom flows at USM.”

And below the acknowledgement are names of generous USM donors, each engraved on a golden heart floating with other hearts in the shape of a much larger heart. And, true to USM principles, the heart is designed to expand as more people participate. The wall we’re talking about, the USM Donor Wall, exists and be found immediately to the right prior to entering the USM offices.

A Unique Design

It all began when several donors enthusiastically stepped forward to underwrite the costs of the unique Spirit of Wisdom fountain that resides in the center of the patio at USM. This seven and one half foot tall fountain, sculpted by artist John Kennedy, is a representation of the way Spirit gives to each one of us, and we then, give out into the world; a symbol of the flow of giving and receiving. John passed from this world before the fountain was installed. He never saw it in operation as it’s the only one of its kind in the world.

A Vision Comes Forward

When the fountain was delivered, a wonderful vision came forward. What if there were smaller versions of the sculpture specially made for USM donors? And what if each person who contributes at a certain level could receive one? And what if they were all blessed by USM’s Chancellor, John-Roger?

And, it happened! A special edition of numbered USM Spirit of Wisdom maquettes, as they are called, were commissioned. They have all been blessed by John-Roger personally. Donors are delighted to receive them and they share that the maquettes are a wonderful way to connect with and anchor the USM energy in their homes.
