Licia has long held a heartfelt desire to serve Spirit by using her abilities and interests to inspire and uplift others.  She engages her love of the spoken and written word through facilitating, public speaking, and writing.

A professional writer for 13 years, Licia brings her earlier experience in television production, video editing, and interactive education to a variety of projects:  children’s multimedia, online business courseware, corporate and university websites, and psychology software.  Some of her clients have included Microsoft, American Express, NBC, Hanna-Barbera Studios, Phillips Interactive Media, Honda, Volvo, University of Southern California, Interactive Health Systems, and innovation guru Gary Hammel.  Licia is currently working with Amgen, designing and writing training curricula for the manufacturing of biopharmaceuticals.

Licia has also facilitated Insight I: The Awakening Heart Seminar.  In these seminars, she had the opportunity to marry her joy in presenting with her love for serving others.

In 1985, Licia graduated magna cum laude with a B.A. in Communication Arts from Loyola Marymount University (LMU), receiving Student of the Year awards in both the Department of Communication Arts and the School of Fine Arts.  In 1999, she completed her Master’s in Spiritual Psychology degree at the University of Santa Monica and was awarded Student of the Year.  She continued on to earn her M.A. in Spiritual Psychology with an Emphasis in Consciousness, Health, and Healing from USM in 2000.  In 2005, she completed USM’s pioneer program in Soul-Centered Leadership.  In addition, Licia has trained in computer software applications, design and programming, as well as adult educational theory and application.

Licia lives with her husband David and Lizzie, their pet gecko, in Torrance, California.  She loves dancing, storytelling, collecting fairytales, laughing with family and friends, and serving the Beloved.
