Dr. Sherry Phelan has served on USM’s facilitating faculty for Soul-Centered Leadership and as a Project Report Reader for the Second Year class. In 2007-08, Sherry joins the faculty for Consciousness, Health, and Healing.
Dr. Phelan is a Business Psychologist and a Mandala Artist, creating colorful, circular art. She integrates her training in Spiritual Psychology and her unique Mandala Art Process™ (MAP) into transformational workshops and coaching.
Since starting her business in 1988, Sherry has been a catalyst for personal and professional growth. Her original research in Turn-Around Thinking™ and Developing Creative Competence at Work has resulted in proven, empowering models that foster creative leadership, conflict management, and artful living.
Sherry has assisted leaders and teams across numerous industries. Corporate clients have included Neutrogena, Parsons, Intel, Universal Studios, Paramount, Disney, Blue Shield, Syncor International, Long Beach Memorial Hospital, Kaiser Permanente, TheRitz-Carlton, Avery Dennison, BP, BAX Global, Goodwill, and others. For 10 years, she also facilitated strategic roundtables for entrepreneurs resulting in the launch or expansion of business, products, and services.
Sherry earned her M.S. and Doctorate Degrees in Organizational Psychology from the California School of Professional Psychology (CSPP) while completing her M.A. in Spiritual Psychology, with an emphasis in Consciousness, Health and Healing from the University of Santa Monica (USM). She also holds a Graduate Diploma in Accounting and Finance from the London School of Economics (LSE) and a BA in Interpersonal Communication from UCLA.
Sherry lives in Southern California where she is designing a new home.
