USM Worldwide—here we come!
Things are really humming here at the University. There’s an enlivening resurgence of enthusiasm and commitment to fulfilling the University’s mission. All of us at USM are feeling the higher vibration frequencies—the higher energy that is coming onto the planet during this time of the Greater Awakening. We are definitely in resonance with Spirit—joyfully humming in harmony with the Great Hum of the Universe.
We are We are enthused to share with you what Spirit is inspiring and all that is transpiring at USM during this very powerful time.
After three years of remaining Covid-free, both of us contracted the corona virus in early January 2023. What initially was a “pause” button became a “reset” button, bringing forward new direction. We have thankfully emerged from this time of rest and contemplation with greater clarity regarding the University’s path forward at this time.
Spirit, wanting to assure that we are mastering the lessons of Acceptance, Cooperation, and trusting the Divine Unknowing, provided new direction for the University and its offerings.
- Mary received guidance for a powerful new Workshop for grads—Forgiveness in Four-Part Harmony: A Weekend of Revelation, Joy, Liberation, and Remembrance that was delivered April 1 & 2. What a Blessing for all of us who had the privilege of partaking.
- Inspiration for the Second Year Practicum resulted not only in a new name, Miracles of Healing Grace, but also a redesign of this four-day online offering. What a powerful experience this has been. Every trio included in this new offering presents an opportunity to experience the Miracle of Healing Grace. Here are a few examples: the Miracle of Self-Acceptance; the Miracle of Knowing the Outer Proceeds from the Inner; the Miracle of Freedom: Sacrificing the Ego’s Story of Self-Victimization, etc. The students’ feedback about their experience of Liberation has brought Joy to our Hearts and tears to our eyes.
- Ron received inspiration for the upcoming In God’s Living Room Workshop for grads, which includes a revolutionary evolution of the Four-Line Model of consciousness that has never been presented before as well as processes that provide opportunities and keys for living as the Presence of Love, experiencing Heaven on Earth. Join us July 15 & 16 to experience how you can live as embodied Love.
- Mary also received guidance for a new 10-month Program, Engoldenment: Worthy Beyond Measure—Journey of the Soul, that is scheduled to be launched September 23 & 24, 2023. This offering is for grads of the Second Year or CHH Programs.
- In addition, the Staff Team, affectionately known as the “Six-Pack,” has been advocating for a First Year offering, Soul-Centered Living I: A Way of Being and a Way of Life—A 10-Month Live-Online Certificate Program in Spiritual Psychology. This life-changing offering is scheduled to be launched October 6, 7 & 8 for students new to this work, from across the country and around the world, who are seeking the Soul-Centered educational experience for which USM is world renowned.
It has become clear to us that it’s important to restore the organization to a schedule of classes that it operated on for so many years, with classes starting in the fall and the Labs and Practicum offered during the summer months. In order to prepare for the classes and enroll students for the two 10-month Programs beginning in September and October, USM will not be offering classes in June, July, and August other than In God’s Living Room. Consider the metaphor of the ocean liner that periodically docks for a period of time in order to prepare itself to again set sail
The Loyalty to Your Soul Workshop in the Middle East, June 9, 10 & 11, 2023!
Two of our beloved grads, Maysar Sarieddine and Nour Fayad, will be facilitating the three-day Loyalty to Your Soul Workshop, which will officially debut in-person in Lebanon on June 9, 10 & 11, 2023. This lays the groundwork for the launch of Spiritual Psychology offerings in the Middle East and is an extraordinary extension of USM’s work and mission. You can learn more at theinnerspace.me/ltys. Both of us are deeply touched and grateful for their vision, dedication, and inspired action in answering the call.
This initiative has the very real potential to become a prototype for others who are called to share the work of the University in their region of the world.
Succession Planning Is Underway—Success-In-Action
It is our great joy and privilege to serve Spirit, the mission, and the community of students and graduates that has grown around the University of Santa Monica’s Soul-Centered educational Programs in Spiritual Psychology. The Loving we have all shared and the learning and Blessings we have received during these more than 40 years in the USM Classroom have enriched our lives immeasurably and contributed to the evolution of this work. We are forever grateful to each of you.
A rich and dimensional body of work has been, and continues to be, gifted to us through Spirit’s infinite Generosity, Wisdom, and Inspiration. We are being guided at this time and have already begun the process of coalescing a team of graduates to support the process of succession planning. We will continue serving the mission as long as we are here. No timeline as yet has been established; however, to assure a graceful transition, the succession planning team is doing the foundational work necessary preparing the way for others to step forward to assume roles of leadership and stewardship of this University.
Think of the word succession as Success-In-Action. This phrase clearly communicates the intention of a successful transition process through which the Principles and Practices of Spiritual Psychology can continue to be shared as others provide leadership for this organization. It is our intention to provide progress reports to the USM community as this unfolds
Our Heartfelt Request for Your Generous Financial Support at this Time
You, the USM Community of students and graduates, have sustained the University for more than 40 years. We are eternally grateful for your generous financial contributions and the many, many hours of service that you have given.
Your financial support and love were instrumental in sustaining the University in 2015 when it became necessary to shift from Master’s Degree Programs to Certificate of Completion Programs in order to stay true to the Heart, Soul, and Spiritual Purpose for which this University was founded and so beautifully expressed in the Founder’s Message in 1976:
“It is time to place the spiritual energy down into the physical world, and the way to do this is through education. We shall teach and learn to cure ourselves rather than alleviate symptoms. We shall transcend to the point of going through something for the last time. Completion will be a part of the spiritual ecology.”
Your support continued to sustain the University in 2020 when suddenly we were in the midst of a global pandemic and could no longer gather for classes at the University of Santa Monica Center on Wilshire Blvd, our home for 40 years. Through your generosity and the generosity of Spirit, a miracle occurred. Three months later, the University was offering online classes for Life Mastery & Soul-Centered Living II, and so we began our journey over the past three years offering Programs in Spiritual Psychology Online to students around the world.
Clearly, Spirit is not done with us yet. We’re in service to the mission of this University as long as we are here. At this pivotal time on the planet and here at USM, we’re asking for your generous financial support to assist USM into its future. We each have the opportunity to contribute and support the University’s Legacy of the Principles and Practices of Spiritual Psychology delivered Worldwide through Soul‑Centered education.

When USM’s founder, John-Roger, was installed as Chancellor of the University on July 4, 1989, he placed a Blessing on the University. That day he encouraged those present to own the University of Santa Monica. He said:
“I am this University of Santa Monica. In that, put the blessings of your heart and your love into it. And not only your blessings of your heart and your love, but your blessing of sustaining this University . . . [W]e want you to sustain us in this work that we’re going to do, in the expansion we’re going to go into.”
