A parking pass for the nearby underground parking structure will be issued to all students upon request. The cost is included in student tuition.
Parking meters are located in front of the main entrance on both 22nd Street and Wilshire Blvd and suitable for short-term parking only. Nearby residential street parking is limited to two hours.

A smoking area is located outside at the northwest corner of the main building where 21st Street and the alleyway intersect.
Only service animals are allowed inside the USM classrooms.

Douglas Park is 1/3 of a mile inland from campus along Wilshire Boulevard and offers grassy picnic areas, a playground, and duck ponds. Groups of USM students often choose to eat a picnic lunch here during their meal breaks.
