USM’s Mission Made Manifest:
Answering the Call of Soul-Centered Education Worldwide
If you’ve been following the USM story the past few years, you know the school has undergone an incredible transformation since early 2020. From brick and mortar to live online classes with a staff team working remotely, the classroom energy field has never been stronger and the transmission of Loving energy, for which USM is well known, never more palpable.
Our world has been destabilized by a global pandemic, war, political upheaval and economic uncertainty, fire, flood, thirst, and hunger, all of which reflect the imminent need for an evolution of collective consciousness and yet-to-be-birthed solutions to meet these challenges.
As such, many people are asking ever-deeper questions and reaching out for skills and resources to live more Authentic and Soul-Centered lives. The call in so many hearts at this time is “How can I make a difference?”
Unlike any other educational institution on the planet, USM offers experiential education that takes place within the Spiritual Context and provides tools for life that facilitate real and enduring transformation, equipping participants to make meaningful contributions in their world and, accordingly, further the upliftment of humanity. As we say here at USM, “A conscious world begins with conscious people.”
What We’ve Been Up to in 2022!
USM is now firmly established in offering Soul-Centered experiential education live online. What a ride! The Blessing is that all three of the University’s 10-month Programs have been translated from the curriculum utilized in the in-person classes into robust yet more streamlined online offerings. This involved a massive overhaul and renovation of all three Programs bringing greater clarity and elevation. Many new processes, including numerous Soul-Centered Basic Skills, were developed for all three 10-month Programs, and this only the tip of the iceberg!
We’d love to share with you some of the highlights from what we’ve been doing during this past year:
- A very exciting development in 2022 involved laying the groundwork for the launch of Spiritual Psychology offerings in the Middle East. This initiative is being led by two grads within whose Hearts the USM mission is very much alive. They intend to begin with the Loyalty to Your Soul Workshop in April 2023. This project has the potential to become a prototype for others who are called to share the work of the University in their region of the world. Mary and USM grad Mark Samuel have been involved in monthly meetings with the two grads from Lebanon, leading to a contractual agreement. Stay tuned as we’ll be sharing more.
- Facilitated Life Mastery & Soul-Centered II: A Gateway to Freedom: A 10-Month Certificate Program in Spiritual Psychology Online (LM&SCL II) beginning March 19 & 20, 2022, with 190 students participating from across the U.S. and 15 countries. Working with these students has been a sacred privilege, most of whom have been with us in the live Online Classroom for the past two years.
- Designed and facilitated the new Four-Day Retreat Online, the culminating experience for Consciousness, Radiant Health & Healing: A Portal to Grace, January 21–24, 2022, with 125 students participating. The theme was Living in the Eternal Now as the Presence of Love. For us, this event truly was a highlight given the elevation of the energy field and the depth of the work.
- Redesigned a refined and elevated three-day Loyalty to Your Soul Workshop Online: The Heart of Spiritual Psychology, offered September 9, 10 & 11, 2022. There were 100 participants new to this work from across this country and around the world in addition to 35 audits. We were humbled by the readiness and clarity of intention the participants demonstrated.
- Continued facilitating complimentary, monthly themed Worldwide Community Gatherings (WWCG) in support of USM’s grad community. Forty of these complimentary evenings have been offered since the beginning of the pandemic. These evenings have become a touchstone for many in the community, and it is our intention to continue offering them
What’s Next at USM?
Given all that is unfolding around the planet, USM’s mission is clearly more important than ever. A Soul-Centered education is one of the most leveraged preparations for living in these challenging times. What could be more powerful than navigating life at this time experientially knowing you are the Presence of Love, equipped with the Principles and Practices of Spiritual Psychology? To us, there seems to be such synchronicity in the convergence of events globally and for USM, leading to USM’s rebirth as a virtual organization. USM has never been more prepared to serve those Souls around the world who are ready to heed the Call to Awakening during this time of tremendous planetary change.
During this pivotal time of evolutionary change on the planet, Mary and I have been in deep contemplation regarding what is next for USM. We are excited to share that we will be offering USM’s Soul-Centered Living I: A Way of Being and a Way of Life beginning March 3–5, 2023. This Spirit-Inspired Program, taking place over ten months, has been curated and refined and will provide participants from around the world with an opportunity to experience and learn the life-changing Principles and Practices of Spiritual Psychology as a Way of Being and a Way of Life in service to living life in harmony with Soul’s purpose. Mary and I are attuning as to what offerings may best serve the USM grad community at this time. We anticipate sharing more with you about this in the next several weeks.

We are filled with Love and Gratitude for all of the years we have been able to serve the USM community and all of the support we have received. Your steadfast gifts of service and financial support throughout the past 40 years have been generous and sustaining. As we look ahead, we see the University of Santa Monica in 2023 and beyond serving its mission of sharing the Principles and Practices of Spiritual Psychology on an increasingly global scale. We are more Grateful than ever for the opportunities to continue providing this life-changing education. As we have affirmed, “When one person resolves one issue, the whole of humanity moves forward.”
